Simple Chair 6061  Aluminum, Stainless Steel Hardware, Polyethylene
16” x 16” x 21”
2026

This Chair was designed with a focus on manufacture. Compontents are fabricated from standard extuded and sheet materials. The only process involved is milling and tapping. Standard parts are used wherever possible so that there are as few different parts and as many multiples. The assembly and disassembly requires only an alan key, and allows for flat pack shipping. When hardware is removed, the entire object is recycleable.

Images explore emerging render methods, working from CAD to vizualisers like Keyshot and Blender, further refinement using generative AI tools, and both digital and analog post processing.

CAD files created are manufacture ready, considering machine and material appropriate tolerances, and lead in chamfers for connections.
